FitCheck ("we", "our", or "us") is a social fashion platform where users share outfit photos and tag clothing items. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.

• Account information: username, display name, email address, optional phone number, and profile picture.
• Content you post: photos, captions, clothing item details (brand, price, store links), and comments.
• Social data: who you follow, who follows you, likes, and direct messages.
• Device data: push notification token (to deliver notifications to your device).
• Sign-in via Google: if you choose to sign in with Google, we receive your name, email, and profile picture from Google.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and operate the FitCheck service.
• To send you notifications about activity on your account (likes, comments, follows, messages).
• To send transactional emails (account creation, password reset).
• To allow other users to discover and follow you.

3. Information Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with:

• Cloudflare R2 – stores uploaded images.
• Railway – hosts our server and database.
• Resend – sends transactional emails.
• Expo – delivers push notifications.
• Google – for Google Sign-In (if you use it).

4. Data Retention

Your data is retained while your account is active. You can permanently delete your account at any time from the Edit Profile screen. This removes all your posts, followers, and personal information.

5. Your Rights

You can access, update, or delete your account information at any time through the app settings. To request a complete data export, contact us at the email below.

6. Children's Privacy

FitCheck is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
